As i am HIV+ & have been speaking for Access Aids Sudbury for a few yrs now i was surprised that i wasn't asked to do any talks or presentations this yr.As i have been taking this Leadership trainign Course through the Ont Aids Network i was hoping to do more then just 1 talk this yr.Strange but cut backs seem's to be an excuse i have been hearing alot of late.This is a great course & i am just waiting for the opportunity to practice what i have picked up through this course.Guess that won't be anytime soon...i am actually thinking of moving away from sudbury-& head west to Alb or BC.where a person with HIV is allowed to smoke weed without being hasseled like i am here in this backwoods mining city.Its more the lack of education especially around the Dr's & nurses!If U use then they get an attitude & treat you like shit-nothin new there...but still...who likes to be treated like that??no too many peoples i know of anyways...sp now i am watching John n kate plus 8,a real life type show that is good for a whole family to watch& then theres the Duggers where there are 17 going on 18 kids!!!Be fruitfull & multiply indeeed!So thats my monday night,World Aids Day 2008!No Breakfast due to snowstorm-I guess the Rainbow-Compassion club will be picking up the tab for a whole table of No-shows-PLWHA's that didnt have a ride like myself & so were not able to attend-feeble excuse i know folks,sure wish we could do alot more then just have a breakfast for the "highsociety"socialites-police & others who wage WAR on brothers,mothers grandfathers & grammothers & everyone else caught up inbetween.WAR on Drugs us WAR on ourselves...Harm Reduction works folks,so work it your worth it.Peace n love not wars n walls eh folks!!!
